Jalapeno Braai Poppers


Fresh or preserved in brine Jalapenos

Grated cheese – we recommend a mix of cheddar and mozzarella, but you can use cream cheese as well, if you want to tone down the heat with a bit of creaminess

Streaky bacon


      • Slice open Jalapenos length wise or cut off the tops. If you want it less spicy, remove the seeds and pith.
      • Mix the grated cheeses and stuff it into the Jalapenos.
      • Wrap each Jalapeno with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
      • Braai your Jalapeno Poppers until the bacon is nice and crispy.
