Marinated lamb chops

Lamb chop recipes


1 tsp margarine
1/2 tsp lemon — zest only
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp fresh oregano — chopped
2 tsp garlic — cloves, minced
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground black pepper
8 lamb chops — trimmed of fat


  • Melt the margarine over a low heat and add the lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour into a sealable container and add the lamb chops. Seal the container and allow it to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Braai the chops for about 4 minutes per side (medium rare).
